Best Practices in Blogging

Friday, February 13, 2009 by Jason Gergely
If you want to make your website as effective as possible, you need to make sure that you are thinking about a lot of things. The following are key factors that will make your website as effective in winning Google searches.
  • Recency – by keeping up on your posting and blogging on a regular basis, you are going to help your website be found by Google Searches
  • Frequency – If you set aside a few minutes 3 times a week to put up just one post, you are increasing the frequency. If you and all your other company bloggers put up 2 or 3 posts a week, you are keeping up with the second thing that Google looks for in it searches
  • Relevancy – Google wants to answer the question that your potential customers are typing into that little search box. You can win this search by honing in and capitalizing on those keywords that relate to your company. You have to blog about those keywords, including them in your posts to make them as effective as possible
So those are the Best Practices in Blogging by capitalizing on Google Searches. These are the three things that Google searches for… remember them. When you think about slacking off and only writing one blog a week… you are not helping your company. Now get out there and put it on your schedule… BLOG AWAY!!
