Why are you participating in the recession?

Economy versus SearchCompendium Blogware is not participating in the recession

Why?

Because businesses and consumers' search volumes are increasing, not decreasing.

If your company was taking advantage of the growth of search usage, perhaps you would not have to participate in the recession. Start a business blog so that your company doesn't need to participate in the recession, either.

Hi Doug, I have been enjoying your other blog from Japan for about 2 years now and Compendium recently popped up on my radar. Compendium looks very interesting, I signed up for a call back on your site, I guess you don't do international calls yet. I just started a new blog for the new year and my first post is about not being a part of the recession. I must admit, about 2 months ago I did get a bit panicked but stayed positive and started looking around for new opportunities. In about 2 weeks I was swamped. I just had to be flexible, look at things from a few different angles and do more of what got me this far -- footwork. I rely somewhat on search but well know the power of it. Even for those of us that don't rely on search to power our business, if we keep that entrepreneurial mindset, the same one that helped to develop technologies and business models like search, I am sure that we will innovate our way through this challenging period and grow a great deal in the meantime. Best of luck to you and Compendium in 2009! [swtspt]

Hi Swtspt, Not sure why you wouldn't receive a response. I forwarded your comment over to our Sales VP to see how it may have gotten lost. I don't have any trepidation over going International!
