My Blogging Nemesis

Friday, March 20, 2009 by Douglas Karr
Sarah - My Blogging NemesisEver since BJ McKay (Earning Customers Through Blogging) knocked me out of the top blogger position a few weeks ago, other people have been charging up the stats and racking up a lot of posts.

Most notably is our Client Success Manager, Sarah (Best Practices in Blogging).  Sarah is a fierce competitor... she does night runs up mountains and crazy stuff like that.

Today Sarah and I are tied on blog posts.  When she found out, she came over to my desk and physically shut my laptop, hoping I'd lose all my work.

However, with our recent release we have autosave!  I simply opened the laptop (yes, yes... I am in fear of my life) and continued to submit the post.

I'm writing this business blogging post right now to let you know that competition and reward work in the workplace when you want to drive your bloggers to blog more.  It may work too well.

As for Sarah... I think I've got her beat today and I'm going to win the weekly prize.  I hid out and told her that via Instant Messanger, here's Sarah's response:

Chat with Sarah

Uh-oh, I think I hear her coming!
