Multi-Part Blog Posts Can Simplify Complex Content

Monday, January 26, 2009 by Douglas Karr

Chantelle (The Successful Blogger) recently met up with David Castor of Alerding Castor.  David's firm specializes in assisting entrepreneurs - big and small - weather the legal storms of private equity, software as a service, intellectual property, venture capital or securities.

David just started blogging in August of 2008 and posts 2-3 times a week.  David doesn't want his blog to be the typical attorney blog - he writes it for his customers so they don't have to trip over the legalese.  When he comes across a book or article that's complex, he'll plan out 2 to 3 blog posts and put together a 'series'.

This allows a single idea per post and allows users to easily digest each topic.  It's a great corporate blogging strategy for content that's complex!  It also keeps the blog recent, with frequent posts... a winner for search!
