Business Blogging in a Recession

Sunday, December 28, 2008 by Douglas Karr
A couple weeks ago, I wrote an article for TalentZoo but I also wanted to share it with you here.

Your Company is Going Under and You Could Have Stopped It

If there was ever a time to capitalize on blogging for business, it's now.  There are no signs that the current recession is going away.  Start a business blog today and you're putting content out on the web for search engines to capture.  You'll continue to get business through search even if you lack the resources to continue to pay for advertising.

We speak about ROI in blogging as an instantaneous event, but we often ignore the fact that a blog post written today could be the search result that drives business to you when you need it most, perhaps months from now.
