Here at Compendium Blogware, we continually stress how important it is to get up and blogging.  Why, you might ask?  It is because the more you blog then the more content you will have.  And in the end, this results in winning the keywords that you or your company has set out to win.  Content is king when it comes to blogging best practices.

I have read quite a few articles on-line about content and why it is not important.  However, everyone of those "so called arguments" just points to the fact that content is vital to blogging. Here are some of the "myths"  I have read about blogging that will testify as to what I am saying.

1.  It is most important to have a strong voice.  While this is true, you must add your content to make that strong voice present in a blog.
2.  The look of the blog is more important.  People do enjoy the look and feel of a blog, however, that is not going to keep them reading.  People want to see substantial information in one spot (i.e. your blog) more than nice flashy images.
3.  Length is most essential when blogging.  Now don't get this one confused with content.  It is more important to have good substance in what you are writing about than how long it is.  Key information is what is going to win you the searches, not the long, drawn out, never ending paragraphs of the blog itself.
4.  It doesn't matter how often you blog.  This is not true in the least.  It does matter.  The more you blog, the more content you have, the more searches you are going to win.  It is just a fact.

So when you are blogging for SEO, don't get hung up with perfectionism.  I do it myself and it does not benefit you or anyone else.  I hope that you have found these blogging tips helpful.  Just remember to add content, over and over again!
