Lateral thinking... you may not know what it is or how it could help out blog posting. Lateral thinking is sort of like "right brained" thinking, thinking outside the box when given a problem. By using your creative side, you can add a little spice to your writing, making it more entertaining and attractive for your readers.

One of the steps, author Brian Clark says "Make jokes about your business, and then take the joke seriously. Humor contains truth, and truth, uncomfortable or not, is an excellent starting point for innovation." This will help add a little color to your corporate blog, making it more unique and able to stand out from other blogs.
However, jokes aren't the only way you can add a little flavor to your blog posts. You can add pictures, videos, etc. Just go out and come up with your own ways to differentiate your blog from others out there.
