Don't Stop Marketing During the Holidays!

Tuesday, November 25, 2008 by Megan Glover
For sales/marketing folks the Holiday season is bittersweet. Sure it's great to have some time off and spread Holiday cheer but reality is... it's a slow time of year.

But is it? Really?

The compendium marketing team tracks our blog and website traffic weekly. And, it seems traffic and conversions for our Website and Blogs are at an all time high.Which tells me that demand and interest are certainly there.

So what's a marketer to do? Keep marketing, of course! Just because holidays are approaching and it might be more difficult to reach decision makers at their desk, doesn't mean people aren't searching for your product/service.

In fact - quite the opposite. Now is the perfect time for decision makers to sit down (with a little piece and quiet) and research the marketing tools they expect to implement now and into 2009.

Blogging is a great online marketing tool to use to intercept the eyeballs of prospects researching your product service. If you're currently blogging for business make sure to keep it up during this busy time of year... if our own analytics trends stay true, this quite possible could be our busiest time of year.

I expect to share more analytics on this info after we wrap this month up!
