Tuesday, September 8, 2009 by Abby Greenbaum
Online marketing is growing very quickly and believe me it's not a hard thing to do. Its actually quite simple to blog, you just have to set blog goals for yourself and for your business.
A blog is something simple that you can write whatever interests you and also about your products or services that you are trying to market. For example one of our clients is White Water Adventurers, check out thir blog here. They are a rafting company that blogs about the different trips they offer and some of their customers experiences on the river. Compendium does all the work for them, all they have to do is come up with the content to write about which will then turn into new business. So why wait ? Help your  business get jump started with Compendium today!

The impact of social media

Friday, August 21, 2009 by Abby Greenbaum
After a great webinar we hosted featuring speakers Chris Baggott and Kyle Lacy titled Getting a Grip on Social Media, now we're all thinking of all the top social media sites out there. Here at Compendium my job is to deal with alot of the online marketing that includes our social media sites, which are the new hip thing.

Twitter for example is very easy to maintain, I usually tweet about our new whitepapers, case studies, and even a blog with some great tips for our followers to use. This is an easy way to send a lot of great material out to your followers in a timely manner.

Facebook is another great social media site. It's not just used to talk with your friends now, businesses are now using facebook as a way to attract people to their company. On our Compendium Facebook page we  have invites to our upcoming events such as webinar's or conferences that we might be speaking at, you will also be able to find all of our new case studies and whitepapers on our page.

So as you know, everyone is trying to save some money now a days and social media is the ticket to do just that. So get your business in the loop with social media and blogging. All you have to do it just set weekly blogging goals for your company, as well as for all your social media sites and this will not only be saving you some money but also driving more unique traffic your way.

Micro-Blogging on the rise

Tuesday, June 9, 2009 by Abby Greenbaum
As the business world knows there are always new software programs in the industry, but the new and upcoming social media service is Twitter. This program is an online messaging service; most know it as micro-blogging. When blogging on twitter you are limited to 140 characters, but by using this method of blogging it makes it very easy to meet your blogging goals, weather you plan to do it once a week or once a day.
Twitter is a great tool to have for your business, it not only allows you to write small messages about your business but it also gives you the capability to attach links about your business or an article you would like your followers to read. This is a great way to get your name out there and have this very simple tool that will only take a few minutes to do and anyone in your office could carry out this simple goal and practice their blogging in a fun easy way.
