More Traffic, Fewer PPC's

Of course the market is over reacting to everything right now, but Google of course caught my interest last week when they discussed a lower click rate on paid ad's in January.   Legitimately they explained that they are doing a better job of eliminating lower preforming keywords and focusing on customer (searcher) satisfaction.

It should be noted, that overall search traffic grew 39% over the previous January.   As someone focused on Corporate Blogging and Search Engine Optimization I think that all organizations should take heed to this.  There are fewer opportunities to drive business through PPC and a rapidly increasing opportunity in SEO.   If a lot more people are searching and fewer are clicking on PPC we all better blog for search optimization.
