As a company that obviously embraces corporate blogging and the power that blogging can bring to your SEO rankings we often times take part in interoffice blogging challenges. These challenges are usually arranged by our Marketing Director and they revolve around the concept that content drives traffic. So as you can imagine the end objective is for the company to produce as much content as we can over a months time.
Many employees with Compendium Blogware have discussed this bubble chart in the past which explains why content creation is soooo important. The more frequently a company can update content then the better ranking they can expect to see.
If we win as a department the prize is minimal and we are allowed bragging rights for the next month but it is fun to compete. Our content creation does more than create pipeline to drive our business, it creates culture...internally and externally.
