Contest Call To Action

I've been working with Fairytale Brownies lately on getting a new Call To Action up on their Compendium blog and thought it would be great to share with everyone. 

Their latest call to action is a contest for their readers.  In addition to a catalog and a product CTA, they now have a CTA that encourages people to send in a recipe that uses a Fairytale Brownie in it.  The grand prize for having the best recipe will win brownies for a year (1 dozen special occasion brownies sent every month). 

Great Call To ActionI love this CTA because it is a great customer acquisition strategy.  Not only is it creative and engaging to readers, it also works to get more people to buy brownies!  Not only do you have to buy brownies to enter the contest, the customer is also sharing brownie ideas with others- telling other customers ways they could use a Fairytale Brownie (other than just eating it). 

The recipes also help the FTB bloggers by providing lots of new content.  Every recipe that is sent in will become a new blog post for the team to put up, helping them get closer to their content creation goals for that month. 

Seems like a winning idea all around and a great best practice blogging technique!
