The Language of the Customer

Tuesday, February 12, 2008 by Chris Baggott
I heard this quote today from Nabil Freij:

Companies with search engine-optimized websites are increasingly awakening to the fact that the language of business is the language of the customer. As a result, they are undertaking the effort and expense of converting their websites...... into the languages most used by their prospects and clients.

Wow..I wish I knew who to attribute this to, but it's spot on.   What is fantastic about blogging for search and made easy with corporate blogging software is the ability to generate content from your employees and constituents that is just what this guy says:  "The Language of the Customer".

The net result is that you win more searches based on the keyword phrases your customers are entering and perhaps more importantly, increasing your conversions because the searcher appreciates it when you speak his language.

Really a blogging best practice!
