Kobe : Lakers :: Blogging : ???

Two topics keep coming up at home these days: my brother taking the SAT's, and the NBA Finals starting this week... Obviously, upon discussing these topics enough, I realized their relevance to the blogosphere in which I life everyday.

I'm not going to claim to be a huge NBA fan, nor do I have a particular team I regularly follow (I tend to stick with the NFL and my Colts)... But when looking at the NBA, I like to follow certain players who demonstrate great talent and are fun to watch.

How can anyone, whether you are a die-hard NBA fan or not, not appreciate Kobe Bryant.  He's an 11-time All Star, league MVP, and has 3 National Championships... He is also the strongest tool the Lakers have going in to these final games.

Now, how is this relevant to the SAT's or blogging? Easy. My favorite part of the SAT's was the analogy section (you know- Hand : Glove :: Head : Hat)... and when I thought about the essential role Kobe plays for the Lakers, I immediately thought about the essential role that blogging plays in SEO. What Kobe does for the Lakers, blogging does for SEO.

Let's face it, LA would not be going to the Finals if Kobe hadn't carried them there. He is the strongest tool the Lakers have.  There is no difference to the huge impact that using blogging as a tool for SEO can have in any organization.

Kobe carried the Lakers to the Finals. Peyton took the Colts to a Superbowl. John Stamos boosted ER's miserable ratings for it's final season. And blogging will bring success to your company. Let Compendium join your team and show you how.
